Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's

R had planned a big four-day campout with the Priests clear back when he was the YM President, so he felt obligated to keep his promise and take them! As soon as they left town so did we. We spent the four days at my parents' house and Aunt Mame came up too. We had fun...thanks for letting us invade you!

Look familiar anyone??? Grandpa teaching B early...

Grandpa taking us high in the basket and around...

Mk with Grandpa...

B wasn't scared, she just has a death-grip on him...

K had fun...

B was so funny...

last night. We went in to say prayers and she didn't want to go! I kept telling her to come and finally she said "I just want to sit here and cry!" It was so funny! The other girls and I went in and said prayers and I came back and she was still sitting there pouting! I don't even know what was wrong with her other than she didn't want to go to bed I guess! She is a crazy kid!

When I was downloading the picture I saw the rest of these summer pics...thought I would share. The girls jumpin' on the trampoline {that is suppose to be all the way in the ground}...

Mk cleaning out the playhouse so they could all sleep in it...bring back memories anyone??? Santa gave this to my sisters and I when I was probably about 8 years old. After they moved, we brought it up here and my girls have had just as much fun in it as we had! All four of the girls slept in it for two nights not waking up until about 6:45...not bad! On the third night, Mk's friend, Janelle, stayed the night and they were all up at 4:30 AM...terrible!

Enjoying a nice evening and sweet sisters...

B said, "Mom, take my picture and I am going to be sad!" Like I said before she's crazy...

Summer days...

It seems there hasn't been anything worthy of blogging about lately until I was going through pics. These are just some of our summer events...

Everyone and Princess...

K & Ry on the fence...

B giving me such a beautiful flower...

K taking Ry on a ride. She drives pretty good just doesn't always pay attention...could be bad?...

R got this little "50" from his boss and Mk thinks it is the coolest thing. I didn't think she would be able to control it, but she does it perfectly...

Uncle Brett on the little "50". Reminds me of Pee-Wee Herman...

B enjoyin' life with her Babe until her turn on the four wheeler...

Finally her turn...

K & her friend, Kate, their last game of the year...

B posin' after a successful slide...

Ry and her cute little smile...

Mk crossing the monkey bars. I never was any good at that...my hands always started to hurt...wimpy me...

Ry, as big as Keek {on the first bar}...

We have been having a great summer! The girls play outside everyday! R leaves for a Priest Campout on Thursday evening, so the girls and I are leavin' too. We are going to spend a few days with my parents...yippee!!! Then the next week is Triple G Week {Grammy's Gathering of Grandchildren}. She takes all of the grandkids {must be potty trained and not take a bottle} for a week without the parents, wow what a woman. I think that Alicia is coming to help and Michelle and Ryan are too. Since we live next door we are out of here at least for a few days. The plan right now is that R & I are going to be going to Pima for a few days. Then back for the 4th! I love the 4th of July, especially when it falls on a weekend...the celebration always seems better! Keep havin' a great summer!

Ultimate Sacrifice...

for Locks of Love. Mk has wanted to cut her hair for quite sometime now, however her dad didn't want us to...so we didn't. The other day they were talking about it and he asked her why she wanted it cut and she said that "people at school call her Rupunzil." I guess that was a good enough answer and he said if she really wanted to cut it that it was OK. It took us a few days to gather up the courage, but after Saturday night bathes we did it!

In the braid...

She said at this point her stomache felt funny...

There it goes...

She was kept giggling that we really did it...

Here's the back...

I think it looks so much better...tomorrow we will get the envelope ready and send in her hair for less fortunate cancer patients. Some little girl will love the thick, beautiful hair that you have donated! I'm proud of you Keek...you look really grown up!

Play Group...

at the park. It was a beautiful day with wind. The wind kept our picnic so exciting! We had to throw our hands over plates, food, and bags quite a few times throughout the morning. Wind doesn't bother the kids as much as it bothers the adults I don't think {maybe it's just me}. The kids played on the playgrounds and let us mommas visit. I thought it was a much needed break from the normal daily routine. I had my camera out and forgot to take it...dang it! Thanks girls for the relaxing afternoon...I had a good time chattin' with y'all, need to do it more often!

Faceshots...

of the girls. I thought I would attempt to take some updated faceshots. I just love the little freckles that dot across Ry's nose...I hope she will love them...I sure didn't love mine! I love these four little girls that seem to be growing up way too fast!

Long awaited...

PRINCESS!!! While we were gone Belle had a little bay filly! She had a colt last year the same week and we were gone to California with my family on vacation. She must not want much attention??? When we got home we took the girls up to see her and asked them what we should name her and of course little girls want to name her Princess. I don't know if it will stick, but it's appropriate to remember she was born while we were on our Princess Cruise.

Robert had to bring the girls a prize, other than the stuff from Alaska, so we got them some waterguns to have water fights...

Bean trying to be tough hiding in the corner...

The biggest kid of all!!!
